La famille Semmikian
Mes sincères condoléances à toute la famille. Je sais combien elle était aimée.
Que mon soutien
réchauffe votre coeur
It is with aching hearts that we announce the sudden passing, just shy of 67 years old, of Jeanne-Myriam Semmikian on Sunday, July 30, 2023, after valiantly fighting a lifelong battle with Lupus. Jeanne-Myriam was a doting and devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, Maxime, Catherine, Alexandra, Emily, Owen, Emma, and Leyna, and to her great-nephew, Nolan. She was an utterly cherished and beloved daughter to her parents, Sarkis and Cato, and a burst of love and positivity, always giving and intuitively thoughtful toward her sisters, Marie-Joëlle and Anoush, her brother Edouard, and to her brothers in-law, Eric and Peter.
She leaves behind countless close friends whose relationships she fostered delicately, and who treasured her, as well as an entire branch of relatives who love her in The Netherlands.
Jeanne-Myriam was a creative, strong, curious, hardworking, able, and talented soul who lived life gently and with humour, despite her sufferings. She was one with Nature, and felt most at home in her beloved Morin-Heights, where one always saw her with her adored pooches. She taught us all how to lead a good life, and we hope to be able to live up to her tremendous wisdom.
Bon vent, notre chérie Mamina. Nous t'aimerons à toujours. Et tu nous manqueras.
A Celebration of her Life will take place on September 23rd at 2 pm at the United Church in Morin-Heights.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: Lupus Canada
La Coopérative funéraire des Laurentides offre à la famille éprouvée ses plus sincères condoléances.
